On the initiative of the NCL Foundation, Elsevier published its own special publication on the topic "Molecular Basis of NCL" in October 2006. This appeared in the journal "BBA Molecular Basis of Disease" (Vol. 1762, 10). A total of 10 reviews on different aspects of NCL diseases were published by 40 co-authors.
