In the context of public relations the NCL-foundation started the project "biology-up-to-date: NCL in class" in April 2005.
Until now (2009) we were able to reach more than 1200 students at grammar schools, sixth form in Hamburg. Lessons were provided by teachers of biology, where a co-worker of the foundation or a student of lectureship gave a talk about this rare disease, its cause and about the activities of the foundation. There was througout a big interest in this topic of the audience.

We hope that this project will proceed with success a long time and we would be pleased if further teachers of biology joined us.
