Teacher continuing education
On 4 October 2007, the NCL Foundation organised for the first time a continuing education course for teachers that was titled "DNA Mutations in Humans: Diagnosis and Therapy by Genetic Techniques". The main focus was on gene diagnostics, gene therapy and genetic counselling as well as the forms of NCL diseases with their chances of therapy.
These trainings are still going on and in the last two years four additional education courses were given.
