BILD-metropress Golf-Cup, 24 August 2007
Well-known golfers donated € 22,222 for the NCL Foundation
The 9th BILD-metropress Golf-Cup held at the Golfpark am Löwenhof in Friedberg was a huge success: 120 participants, many of them celebrities from sport, show, economics and politics, played together and had a lot of fun playing against the malicious metabolic disease NCL. The actor Jan Josef Liefers (NCL-Ambassador) and the founder of the NCL-Foundation, Dr. Frank Husemann, jointly explained the illness and the role of the NCL-Foundation. With great effect: The participants, including TV moderators Jörg Wontorra, Gundis Zambo, Werner Schulze-Erdel and Michael Schanze, the soccer players Heribert Bruchhagen, Heiko Beeck, Uli Stein, Thomas Berthold, Jürgen Grabowski, Bernd Hösenbein and Andy Möller and world-class sports personalities such as Dieter Thoma, Susi Erdmann, Axel Schulz, Sven Ottke or Eberhard Gienger, all reacted generously.
We thank very much metropress, the Bild-Zeitung (newspaper) and Jan Josef Liefers for their efforts in favour of the NCL-Foundation.
