2nd Classic Car Festival in Randel Park
Taking a drive for a good cause!
When Hoke drove Miss Daisy through the backwoods on a long trip, he did it in style - in a 1955 Cadillac.
On September 12th, 2009 the service organisation Old Table 300, in conjunction with the NCL-Foundation, held its second classic car charity event in which participants could take a long drive in style too.
In exchange for a small donation, excited participants were driven around in luxury whilst supporting valuable research into the fatal disease NCL.
In addition to admiring the automotive masterpieces on display, festival-goers also had the opportunity to enjoy a performance by King Elvis as well as relax under the trained hands of Meridian Spa masseurs. Rounding out the family-friendly event, an exciting raffle drawing drew in participants with its promise of top-quality prizes.
The NCL-Foundation heartily thanks the festival-goers, helpers, sponsors and and especially Old Table 300, without whom this event would not have been possible.
