Wolfgang Springer, owner of Springer Bio-Backwerk, has been continuously supporting the NCL-Foundation for years. He is presently nominated for the Audience Award of the German Commitment Awards. In order to get the award he needs to collect the most online-votes until the 15th of November. In case Mr. Springer wins the election he is donating the trophy money, 10.000€ (nearly 15.000 US$), to the NCL-Foundation in order to kick off new research projects to fight the deadly children’s disease NCL (Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, also known as Batten disease).
