Fundraising

Scientific research is expensive. The development of a gene therapy for NCL will cost approximately €9 million. 

Through targeted public relations, the NCL Foundation aims to raise public awareness about the rare disease and raise funds for research.

We strive to achieve these goals by initiating publications on the disease itself, sending traditional donation letters, setting up information booths at professional conventions and organizing charity events.

The following pages offer an outline of the scope of our events and projects and highlights sponsors and service groups that have been of great help so far.
