Hamburg Founder Prize 2010
The Hamburg Founder Prize is awarded every two years by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg starting in 1789. It is awarded to exemplary Hamburg foundations that exhibit a strong civic commitment to further promote Hamburg. In 2010, the NCL-Foundation was one of the three finalists.
Frank Husemann - Hamburg Citizen of the Year 2006 for Community Involvement
Each year, Hamburg bows to citizens of the city that have accomplished outstanding things. The award is given to citizens according to different categories: Lifetime Achievement, Economy, Fairness and Courage, Community Involvement, and Cuture and Sports.
Dr. Frank Husemann received the award for 'Community Involvement' for the NCL Foundation, in honor of its commitment to the children and families affected by the rare disease.
