NCL-Foundation

The non-profit foundation aims at employing at least one qualified scientist to meet the following objectives:

  • to increase the public awareness of NCL in order to promote the early diagnosis of the disease
  • to build an NCL-network of medical specialists, in order to bundle and co-ordinate the nationally and internationally existing know-how
  • to initiate research and development concerning possible cures. Experts shall be brought together in order to utilise their particular know-how for the fight against NCL
  • The foundation shall be enabled to initiate concrete NCL-research projects. There is for example the possibility of push financing through scholarships
