9th national NCL-congress (August 23, 2010)

The 9th national NCL-congress organized by the NCL-Foundation took place on August 23rd, 2010. The focus of this year's meeting was the comparison of viral and non-viral gene therapy in terms of juvenile NCL. National and international experts, such as Robin Ali, Timothy Cox, Ron Crystal, Jörg Kreuter, Beverly Davidson, David Begley, Robert Steinfeld and Jon Cooper participated in this congress.

8th national NCL-congress (June 3, 2009)

The NCL-Foundation was honored to welcome 25 (inter-)national participants. They were from the U.S.A., France, Great Britain, Israel, The Netherlands and Germany. The meeting offered the chance to have an intensive exchange about new research results. The main focus was the storage material (ceroid-lipofuscin) and inflammatory processes in the brain. We are sure, that this congress will bring forward new research directions to develop therapy strategies.
