Application for promotion of research

The aim of NCL foundation is the initiation of promising NCL research projects. The foundation assists the procurement of information and the circuit of new scientific contacts. In exceptional cases an initial funding can be carried out, by allocation of PhD scholarships.
Applications of research, reviewed by the Scientific Advisory Board are communicated to cooperating foundation, to cover the still missing fields of research as fast as possible.

Following parameters are important:
Dates for application: 1st of March and 1st of September
Candidates: Institutes and above-average certified biologists, biochemists, molecular biologists
A Proposal is obliged to comprise

• a detailed experimental concept (timetable and cornerstones)
• CV of the candidate
• List of publication
• Description of the scientific surrounding.

Promotion: is possible in the whole german federal territory, preferably of interdisciplinary targeted PhD thesis in the field of juvenile NCL.

In individual cases a subsidisation of equipment/consumables is possible.
